Learning Together Across Generations: Guidelines for Family Literacy and Learning Programmes
The report “Learning Together Across Generations: Guidelines for Family Literacy and Learning Programmes” was developed by UNESCO institute for lifelong learning (UIL). The report provides a breakdown and examination of promising existing family literacy and learning programmes implemented in all world regions, but with a particular focus on sub-Saharan Africa. The benefits of the report for the MiFamily project primarily relate to the real evidence-based approach that the report has adopted and the guidelines it provides on how to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate family learning programmes – in particular with a view to the learning needs of disadvantaged families and how an intergenerational approach can help to address learning needs.
