Migrant in Romania – magazine
The Migrant in Romania Magazine aims both to inform the general public about the phenomenon of migration and to provide useful information for migrants to encourage them in their integration efforts. The magazine has a quarterly appearance and is available on paper and electronics on www.migrant.ro. Each year, a magazine will be edited and distributed in a foreign language of interest to migrants.Foreigners with legal residence in Romania can benefit from free Romanian language courses
– The courses last 4 hours a week, according to the structure of the school year. The course schedule is established in consultation with the participants
– At the end of the course the level of knowledge of the Romanian language is assessed anda certificate issued by the Ministry of Education is released
– The children of foreign citizens residing in Romania, including refugees and asylum seekers have access to the Romanian educational system. Those who do not know Romanian have initiation courses and can participate in educational activities. At the end of the school year , a specialized committee assesses the knowledge and recommends in which class the child should be enrolled in the next school year.
