The “Speak Romanian” website was created by the Intercultural Institute Timisoara in partnership with General Inspectorate for Immigration as part of a EU funded project in 2010 through the Asylum and Migration Funds. The aim of the website is to provide online tools and resources for people interested in learning Romanian as a Second Language, targeting both teachers from public schools who have to teach Romanian as a Second Language and all categories of legal migrants interested in learning Romanian: asylum seekers, refugees, and third country nationals. The website is still active and useful resources and tools are available for download such as: teaching manuals for learning Romanian (beginner and intermediate level), manual for social-cultural accommodation, a manual for cultural education for migrant children in Romania, audio learning tools and interactive language exercises.
